Breakfast at Cape Diem Lodge

Our in-house guests can start each day with our breakfast, which is served daily between 07:30 and 10:00.

Our breakfast consists of a rich continental buffet followed by scrumptious hot breakfast dishes to choose from our a la carte menu, as well as freshly squeezed juices, Simonsig Methode Cap Classique from Stellenbosch Winelands and Cape Town crafted coffee.

Cape Diem Breakfast to Go

Should our guests leave the property early for a day excursion or to the Airport, we will gladly prepare a complimentary

Breakfast to Go, which our guests can enjoy on the way. We kindly request a 24hour notice for orders.

Light Meals and Drinks

We offer a small, but sufficient Light Meals menu for our guests to enjoy between 12:00 and 15:00 around our pool and garden area.

Our wine list consists of a carefully selected Wines, Spirits and Craft Beers from local Wine Estates and Distilleries, and also includes soft drinks and coffees.

Complimentary Afternoon Tea

What would Cape Diem Lodge be without a true Victorian tradition – Afternoon Tea.

Complimentary tea is offered everyday as of 16:00, where guests can choose from a variety of teas, coffees, biscuits and South-African rusks.

Sundowners

We invite our guests to join us for a complimentary sundowner everyday between 17:00 and 18:00.

We had 2 amazing days in Cape Town and our stay at Cape Diem Lodge was beyond all our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and we got a lot of travel and hiking tips from the host. Breakfast was amazing. Calm and relaxing lodge and area of town. Still close enough for walks down to Waterfront or other parts of town.

Great spot, modern clean room with a lovely garden and views of the mountains. Fantastic breakfast and very friendly staff. Bianca was very helpful and made us feel at home. Location is perfect, quick walk to V&A waterfront and lots of restaurants within 2 minutes. Safe surroundings.
